CHALLENGE
Entrepreneurship Seminar II is a university program of QREC at Kyushu University. The program was produced and managed primarily by students, inviting seven businesspersons as guest lecturers over a two-month period. Everything was left to the students, from conceptualizing the overall program, to inviting guests to each class, to recruiting student participants.
SOLUTION
A major problem was the number of students participating in the program. As of one month before the start of the program, only 8 names were on the student list. Therefore, we designed three types of advertisements: 1) a0-size posters, 2) a4-size flyers with copywriting, 3) cards focusing on each instructor and attracting the interest of other students, and 4) a Facebook page that would be linked to the program to inform students about the program.
RESULT
During the two months leading up to the first event, we managed and planned the program, including inviting business people to attend. Ultimately, the program was a success, attracting seven unique guest lecturers and over 50 students.
